Lillian Pexton started her journey sewing seven years ago and has been involved in runways and modeling from a young age. Lillian is the founder of Princess Chicken, where she makes one of a kind handmade garments. The name Princess Chicken is a nickname from her loving mother.
She describes herself as a sustainable designer, making garments from second hand or recycled materials. She focuses on engineering efficient pattern drafting methods to reduce waste, while also designing clothes that will have a longer life through material studies and dynamic, interchangeable design. Lillian often designs modular garments; pieces that can be worn multiples ways and fit a range of size in a single garment. Ms. Pexton has an array of skills including zero-waste design, natural pigment dying, costume design, millinery design, bridal, hand sewing techniques and so much more.
